THE WELCOME CENTER
The Welcome Pavilion, dedicated in 2012, is the most recent structure at Camp Potomac Woods. Located near the parking lot, the Welcome Pavilion is used mainly as a shelter from the elements for staff and campers during the check-in process for sleep-away camp. The Welcome Pavilion is also is a pleasant picnic shelter, and is the location of the Songs Center at Camp Tag-A-Long summer day camp.
The construction of the Welcome Pavilion was made possible by a generous gift from Girl Scout benefactor Sarah M. Phillips and her husband, Dr. Lawrence Phillips (center).
